One of our greatest achievements has been the cultivation of a company culture that attracts determined and empathetic individuals who desire to make positive impacts wherever they are. That culture is what drove us to carve a way for rising generations to explore new career opportunities and reach their goals through our Work Inspired scholarship fund.
Last year, thanks to employee donations and a corporate match, we raised over $47,000 toward scholarships, enabling us to award three outstanding individuals with $10,000 scholarships and paid summer internships in our inaugural year. Out of 1,800 submissions that detailed inspiring stories and impressive accomplishments, we selected 10 finalists and 3 recipients of the Work Inspired scholarship.
Each of these impressive individuals have already overcome numerous challenges and embody what we believe working inspired really means. Using their challenges to fuel their success, each of these recipients has made significant impacts on their families and communities.
