NetDocuments announced today that it will open a datacenter infrastructure and offices in Australia, as global demand for the cloud-based email and document management service continues to rise. With customer firms already in the region, including Cooper Grace Ward, Lavan Legal, and a recent top 10 Australian law firm, NetDocuments is responding with an investment in datacenters, offices, and a supporting team in Sydney.

"After the acquisition of Decisiv Email and amidst such incredible global growth, we felt the timing couldn't be better to bolster our presence in the APAC region," Matt Duncan, NetDocuments CEO, stated. "Local and international firms alike are realizing the impact that a modern DMS can have on their productivity and technology adoption across the firm, and our investment will simply enhance our ability to reach and service the growing customer base. The APAC region presents an incredible opportunity, and when a prestigious top 10 Australian firm joined our customer base, we knew we had the critical mass to make the investment in the region and bring key people onboard."

In early 2011, NetDocuments opened the doors to its European operation based in London. The global expansion in both EMEA and APAC is supported by Frontier Capital, who, in 2014, recognized the legal market potential, and current DMS transition, investing capital in NetDocuments to accelerate its global market share. Duncan continues, "We're seeing incredible year over year growth as firms' appetite increases for enterprise document management that addresses key concerns of security, usability, and agility. We expect the trend of leading firms switching from traditional software to our SaaS-based cloud service will continue to accelerate, and our presence in Australia will certainly support that."
